Analysis of digipack - ska

This is a ska digipack by 'The Delegators'.

Here we can see that the front cover consists of the main band member singing into a microphone. This shows the artist as hard working and cares about their music.

On the back cover we can see the lyrics are written in a white font above single pictures of the band in different body postures. This font is small and just written in normal ariel. It is not complicated but as it is white it stands out and they change some words to being bold.

The inside cover of the digipack is an image of the band messing around. This is showing their fans who brought the album that they are fun and love their job. It means the audience think they are genuine and are likely to go and see them live.

The white background of the cover behind the actual CD is contrasting with the black CD, therefore, making it stand out.

All of this digipack is in black and white shows the age of the band but also stands out from other digipacks which are normally colourful. This showing that the ska genre is different from other genres.
