Rough Copy of Digipack inside cover

Here is my first copy of what image I was going to use for the inside of the digipack. I have included a screenshot of all band members of them all playing instruments. I originally thought this would be a good idea because they are saying a thank you message and it shows the band doing what they love.
However, I did not stay with this copy because I felt it was a bit plain and did not fit with the other areas of the digipack which were black and white.

Initial ideas for digipack

I was producing the inside left of the digipack where the band was saying a message to the fans and to their record label. These were just some ideas that I came up with but then thought they don't sound like a ska band and are not very original.

Therefore I came up with some different text to put on the inside of the digipack which mainly was just thanking their record label instead of their fans:

"Us fun loving guys wanna raise a pint to our record label for being the best fellas to make our banging tunes. Cheers to all the effort and support you’ve given us lads."

Magazine Advert Idea

This is my idea for the magazine advert for the album. It includes pictures of the band members, the album cover, reviews of the album the title and the band name. Most of these are typically included in album adverts.

Filming in Camden

After the unfortunate weather which we were faced with when attempting to film in Brighton, we decided to film in Camden instead. It is well known for its artistic buildings and market stalls, all adding to the setting which we were trying to create.

There were many benefits from filming in Camden, such as being able to film the graffiti tunnel which is situated just behind Waterloo station. The use of the graffiti gives a unique setting for filming and photography. The time lapse which we created by the river was very successful and looked effective once edited. In addition, the lights and funfair helped to create different focuses and shots.

However, we could have improved the amount of footage which we managed to film. If we had more time in Camden we may have been able to film more, however it took longer than expected to film certain bits of footage. In addition, in order to improve we could have planned the day better and made a shot list, enabling us to take a wide variety of shots.

Change of Location

Due to the lack of success in Brighton, because of the weather, we have now had to change our location.

We have decided to locate some of our music video in Camden, London. Therefore, we have a range of different shots we can take. For example, the outside of shops, Camden market and the tube station.

Also, there is the authorised graffiti tunnel behind of Waterloo station which we can take some creative shots. Moreover, we will buy a travel card which will allow us to travel around London on the tube if we have any other ideas of locations.
