The lyrics which have stood out represent a daily life of a young man during the day and night. It specifically brings out night time e.g. night, beer, club.
By deconstructing these lyrics I learnt that our main lyrics are all similar. They all link together to create a night out, such as spending and beer. However, there are also contrasting words in this deconstruction. For example, work and paid. Therefore, it is then easy to see that our music video should show this contrast.
Most ska videos shows the people out and about, mainly at a party or a bar, for example 'Smash Mouth, Why Can't We Be Friends'. They all seem to be upbeat and have the artists dancing in the music videos.
Overall, our chosen song 'Nite Klub' uses the theorist Levi-Strauss' theory of binary opposites.
